Beaver Released Photo Records
A booking photograph records how a person looked when jail staff processed a specific admission. It belongs to that booking. The image does not establish the final charge result, sentence, or later custody status. A person may leave Beaver County Jail on bond, after time served, under county parole, or through a transfer. Those outcomes are different even when the intake image is the same.
Pennsylvania does not require Beaver County to keep an online mugshot gallery. Access to a particular photo depends on the record, its case posture, and any applicable exemption. Criminal-investigation limits, privacy interests, court orders, juvenile confidentiality, expungement, and limited-access rules can affect disclosure. The sound approach is to request the identified image and allow the custodian to decide what can be released, with redaction or severance where possible.
Where Beaver Mugshots Appear
Beaver County has fewer official online photo channels than many counties. The county jail page identifies the facility and its procedures, while the Sheriff’s Office describes the Regional Booking Center. Neither source provides a public roster, recent-release view, or person-level mugshot gallery. That absence makes a booking-specific request the main county route.
| Channel | Photo status | Correct use |
|---|---|---|
| Beaver jail website | No public gallery found | Use the contact and records route |
| Sheriff mobile app | No official mugshot module found | Do not assume an app-only gallery exists |
| County record request | May provide a specific, nonexempt image | Name the booking and request severable material |
| PA DOC locator | May show a state institutional image | Use only for a matching DOC inmate or parolee |
| News or agency release | Sometimes case-specific | Check the date, source, and docket context |
| Commercial aggregators | May be stale or misidentified | Never treat as release confirmation |
PA SAVIN through VINELink is valuable for custody events, but it is not a certified Beaver booking-photo archive. Likewise, the Pennsylvania State Police registry is limited to people who independently have a registration duty. It is not a general list of released inmates and should never fill gaps in a mugshot search.
No Beaver Mugshot Gallery
The distinctive local fact is the county’s restrained publication practice. The official Beaver County Jail and Sheriff pages do not expose a photo roster or a rolling release gallery. There is no verified 24-hour or 72-hour county photo feed. No official Beaver County sheriff or jail app with a recent-release mugshot feature was found either.
This matters because a missing online photograph says little. It may mean that Beaver County never posted the image, that a case is restricted, or that the person was held in another system. It does not establish that the photo was destroyed. It also does not establish release. The public web page and the agency’s retained record are separate things.
For a recent named person, first confirm the booking through the jail, PA SAVIN, or the UJS docket. Then request only the photograph tied to that event. A broad demand for a gallery is less precise and may sweep in protected records. The narrow route is also less likely to confuse two people with similar names.
Note: Beaver County publishes no stated web-retention period because it provides no person-level release or booking-photo archive.
Request Beaver Booking Photos
The Beaver County open-records portal links the county policy and Standard Right-to-Know Form. Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104, presumes agency records public unless an exemption, privilege, court order, or other law applies. A photograph can still be withheld when its precise status brings it within a valid limit. Ask for nonexempt, severable portions rather than asserting that every image must be released.
- Identify the person, booking number if known, and a tight admission date range.
- Ask for the front-view booking photograph associated with that exact Beaver County Jail booking.
- Request an electronic copy and state that nonexempt, severable material is acceptable.
- Do not seek medical, juvenile, victim, security-layout, or unrelated personal information.
- Keep the response and request number, then use the stated appeal route if access is denied.
The RTKL usually requires an agency response within five business days or a written extension for a permitted reason. That is a response deadline, not a promise that the photograph will arrive in five days. Current fees and the listed open-records officer should be verified on the day of filing.
The official county request screen shows the route available to a requester:
View Beaver County’s records-request options before preparing the booking-specific request.

The screen supports a targeted records request, not a promise that a requested mugshot is automatically public.
Beaver DOC Photo Checks
A person transferred from Beaver County Jail to state prison entered a different custody system. Search the PA DOC Inmate and Department Supervised Individual Locator by inmate number when possible, or compare name, committing county, location, age, and other available identifiers. The locator may display an institutional photograph for a current DOC inmate or supervised person.
A PA DOC image is not the Beaver County booking photo. It was created for the state record and may show the person at another time. Someone who posted county bail and never entered DOC custody may never appear there. A person who fully discharged can also fall outside the locator’s current inmate and supervised populations. For an older state discharge or a requested state image, use the PA DOC Right-to-Know route with the DOC number and a date range.
- Booking photo
- An image tied to intake for one jail admission.
- Institutional photo
- An image maintained in a state corrections record.
- Discharge
- The end of the sentence or supervision, not just departure from a building.
- Transfer
- Movement to another custodian while custody continues.
Check Beaver Photo Context
The Pennsylvania UJS Case Search supplies the context a photograph lacks. Search Beaver County criminal cases and compare the docket number, name, date information, charges, bail entries, disposition, sentence, and later orders. A dismissed count may coexist with another conviction. A bail order may precede actual processing. A sentence of time served may support eligibility without proving the jail’s exact release time.
The Beaver County Clerk of Courts maintains bail bonds, jail and state commitments, transfers, warrants, disposition reports, archives, and expungements. A certified order from the Clerk can show what the court directed. The jail movement entry shows when Beaver custody ended and whether the destination was the community, PA DOC, another county, USMS, or ICE. Those records are stronger than a copied image caption.
Local news, municipal police, the Sheriff, District Attorney, and Pennsylvania State Police sometimes publish case-specific arrest images. Always retain the original date and source. An old article cannot establish current custody or the ultimate result. Commercial mugshot collections may preserve obsolete captions, omit dispositions, or attach an image to the wrong person. They are unverified leads, not official evidence, and no commercial mugshot publisher is linked here.
Expunged Beaver Mugshot Records
Pennsylvania law permits expungement for defined categories under 18 Pa.C.S. § 9122. Related Clean Slate provisions can limit public access in qualifying matters. The Beaver County District Attorney’s expungement page provides local forms and category guidance, including some non-conviction matters, successful diversion outcomes, qualifying summary cases, and pardoned offenses. Eligibility depends on the current law and the specific record.
Expungement, limited access, and a pardon are not synonyms. Expungement directs legal removal in the scope of an order. Limited access restricts public dissemination for qualifying records. A pardon is executive clemency and does not itself prove physical release. The UJS portal states that sealed, expunged, and limited-access cases do not appear publicly, so a blank result cannot prove that no booking occurred.
No verified Pennsylvania statute aimed specifically at commercial pay-to-remove mugshot practices was found in the project research. Do not assume one exists, and do not pay a removal business based on a promise. For an official source, identify the governing order and contact that source about its record. For a news image, provide accurate disposition or restriction documents to the publisher without assuming removal is guaranteed.
Verify Beaver Released Mugshots
A reliable match joins three facts: the right person, the right booking, and the right outcome. Start with a booking number or narrow date. Compare the photo only to identifiers that can lawfully be used. Then reconcile the jail movement record with the court docket. PA SAVIN can corroborate a recent event, while the PA DOC locator helps when the court committed the person to state custody.
Absence is weak evidence. Beaver County has no public roster, a restricted docket may vanish from public search, and a fully discharged person may no longer appear in the PA DOC locator. The Beaver County released-inmate search and record path explains how the sources fit together. For very recent events, the 24-Hour Releases page explains why the county’s missing feed must be replaced with person-specific checks.
Keep the inquiry narrow and factual. A photograph should help match an identified booking, not become a gallery stripped of its date and outcome. The official release or movement entry remains the best Beaver County evidence of how jail custody ended.
